LET'S CHANGE OUR HEADS

I helped to design this flyer in the last session. What was that guy’s name? I guess the next step is the purpose of the event. No horsing around.

They’re going to a convention. She saw them. I imagine they’re going to a party. Looks like they’ve been partying before they left. They’re looking like they’re at a New Year’s Eve party. It was about a month ago. I remember that.

Rooster’s the head chicken head of some kind. Why are they wearing chicken heads? Candy. Two heads. If they’re indoors they’re just making a lot of noise.

They’re introducing colorful.

Who are they?

Where do they want to be?

For what reason? Candy for dinner.

What are they doing? They’re going to New Year’s.

Why are they wearing the chicken hats? Some kind of fuss up there and so they’re going to see that, too. I don’t know how to put it in. Tthere aren’t any men in there. It came in empty. Why are they wearing chicken heads? It’s just the way it is. I guess it’s a requirement for the party, which is a costume party.

What kind of costume party?

The guy in the blue suit is the big rooster, and the other guys are his buddies.

Where are all these fellas going? The other two are trying to behave themselves. They should learn to behave themselves. It’s going to be good.

Okay there’s that part. If you don’t share, you won’t get any more candy. They just looked it up.

They look like they’re all salesman. They’re working in the barnyards. The one in the blue suit is the big cheese. They’re having a great time. Not just nice, but they don’t cut loose like this very often.

Normally don’t dress this nice. Chicken is just for some barnyard humor. “Wear a hat?”

We should have spudded it. What to do.

I don’t know, honey.

Two of them are doing what they were asked to do, but the others are just cutting up. The remaining men are…I don’t know. How many fellas are in there? Maybe they’re three chickens getting ready for dinner. Looks like it’s wonderful.

Their names are chicken head. Maybe we should give them names of horses. The names of the horses, since it doesn’t matter to chickens what their names are. Look at the little ones there. This is the same one.

Same name as the horse from last week. Do you remember what his name was? Is this the same guy from the horse picture we saw a couple of weeks ago?

Looks like an Alfred to me. You mean the guy with the mustache? Yeah, that first one.

I think this a wild guess.

Do you want to go home tonight? I have a lot of meetings, classes, first.

I’m not able to read what it looks like. I’m sitting in my chair here, but I just don’t know.

Do you have one? Yes. Yes. I think so so so.

I want it to be through. What are they holding? Does one of them have a drink? They’re right here. Right there. Because you can get it from light. I can put it in my lies and take it to the ramp, and then when I ran I fant it. Cuz if I do you don’t know how you’re gonna breat. Are you every a fafa too?

Martinis or hula hoops. There go those crackpots. There go those crackpots.

They’re not as drunk tonight as they were last night. They’re given ‘em time.

What are they looking at? There’s a parade coming down the street. They want to see if they can get in it.

Oh, my land. Yeah. Granted.

This one’s saying to that one, “Put your hat on right!”

“It’s fine with me,” he says.

“As soon as I finish this drink, it’ll be even better.”

He’s going to need to do whatever he does. They’re going to sit around and talk about how good it is. Some of them are good. Some aren’t.

“How much fun that was that?” they’ll say.

“Let’s do it again next year. But let’s change our heads.”

THE DESERTED STATION

What’s going on in this picture? It looks like the old railroad station in Orlando, years ago. He’s supposed to be one of those that plays baseball. Don’t worry about it. This is the most important thing. They’re beautiful.

What’s the time? It’ 2:04. The woman is dancing. They’re asking each other questions. They’re acting silly. And they’re having a good time. I can’t see where the music’s coming from so it must just be in their heads. Things go away like that, but they’re waiting for all the people. Three years later. The clothes smell good. I think it’s my son.

Why do they have umbrellas? The lady is holding something in her hand other than the umbrella, like a bouquet. Poor old row. Where does yours go? It doesn’t go to him. They came from down the road. That’s a bad place to go. They could hold on for hours, which is too long.

Are they touching the ground? They could touch it, but it’s up to them what they do. Someone told me to keep on dancing and dancing and dancing. We don’t want it pulling out on you. What are they going to do tomorrow? They’ll do something. It’s a beautiful dress. Look at the way they walk. They’re either running or dancing.

It’s a cute picture. They’re coming toward us. Where are they? In Florida. It looks like a railroad station in some little town. Nobody else is around so it’s not used much. The train came in and it came in the back of it. Are they going somewhere on the train? I guess they are, if they’re going to New York. He just heard that they’ve got an audition for a Broadway show. The lady said, “Don’t worry about it.”

That’s a beautiful picture. That looks like the old railroad station in Orlando that isn’t used anymore. They’re both good people. You can see there are no cars parked around it, nobody wandering around. The railroad is still in good condition but nobody’s using it.

She’s burning now. He’s looking at her dress. Where is he? You have a need to cherish everything. The kids have money. It’s good because it’s not crowded.

It doesn’t look at all like him. They won’t stay. That’s a deserted railroad station. Nobody there. If they’re going to catch a train they’ve got luggage, and somebody should be there to pick up the luggage. Us people, sometimes we get so scared, and I don’t know why. When people need help, we need to help them. Come on, that’s all right.

His name is Alfred. I knew someone named that. He said okay, he’d run around with an umbrella in his hand if there was no one to see him. I mean, this is one valley life.

I wish they had those night things. I did, I did, I tried. What is her name? Betty, and he’s a Tom. Her name is Mickey Bell. What about Betty Mickey Bell? It’s a possibility. Well, nobody’s there to hear them or see them.

She looks like she’s heading toward the park. They’re having a good time. It’s obvious they’re looking at someone. Who are they looking at? Who is taking the picture? That’s who they’re looking at. She doesn’t much give a damn. I think my daughter Melinda is taking the picture. That’s a deserted station.

He headed for five fields, wherever that is.

Where are they going? There were no rugs, no studs, nothing that you could want. I couldn’t get on them.

Everything he wants to know, he just takes it. I don’t know I’d be stepping and flying. It’s because they get afraid. They’re posing for a picture.

They’re going to New Jersey. Why would they go to New Jersey? Same reason you would.

Why is the crew taking a picture? They don’t have anything else to do, and someone told them to go take a picture. Actually, they could have just taken the picture and then posed these two people on it, instead of dragging them out there in the first place.

I like them both. Whatever he’s doing, I don’t know what he’s doing. It doesn’t even look like their feet are touching the ground. His do, but hers don’t.

How do they know each other? They went to school together. That’s what they were talking about. Are there any others in the area or is there just empty space?

Do you have that little half-calf?

What is their relationship now? They’re fooling around. That’s all they do.

The umbrellas are taking them up off the ground. They’re relatives. Let’s get on the road. Tie everyone down.

They’re dancing. They’re beautiful. Put away the pen cap and anything else that’s loose.

She did a good job. I did a lot of those. My son was talking to me about it. Why do they need umbrellas for their dance? The girl is the only one there. It was not in my head at all, because I didn’t know how much they were going to have to do over there. I had a lot.

Why do they have the umbrellas? They had to have a prop of some kind. Because when they were zebras, they needed them. Start the engine as quickly as possible. I see the heat.

That was good. Why do we have two drivers? Take that call.

This is my daughter and son. My son is dancing with my daughter. She always wanted to be an actress. She made it. That’s good.

Is that a gun? They’re in the chicken yard. If we don’t get off the ground by 3:00, I’m going to cancel.

This is the most beautiful picture. I met him a long time ago and he had a beautiful suit. I don’t care if I get there or not.

Why are you all of the sudden cleaning? They’ll be here. I don’t know what time he’ll get here. We don’t even know what else is in the truck.

What are they going to do after they get their photo taken? His father works there. It’s a chance to get a picture of the old place in the news again. Nobody uses the train station anymore. Everybody flies. Why not? It takes fifteen minutes by air and two hours by train. Buckle up.

They want to take me home. Nobody’s over there, I don’t think.

A FOGGY DAY IN LONDON TOWN

Where is this? It’s not New York, that’s for sure. It might be India somewhere. She’s chasing after him. Is she jealous? He’s trying to kiss her while he’s dancing with her, but she’s not real sure, that’s why she’s pulling her head back.

He’s awful free with it.

Singapore, could be. The guy in the back is just standing there. One guy is jealous of the other guy. He doesn’t know it but he’s going to be caught. He’s just watching them.

I’m trying to remember where that skyline is. I’ve seen it before. It looks like Seattle. It might be. I’ve only seen Seattle in pictures or in movies. I’ve never been there.

I think it’s right here in this town. You’ve got to look for the skyscrapers.

This poor little lost soul is just looking for anything she can grab. The other one is saying, “I hope she doesn’t see me.” The other one is saying, “Don’t pay any attention to her.” It’s just simple as that.

Why is she going after the man? There’s no one else available at the moment.

The woman dancing is awfully tall. The woman dancing with the man is telling him not to pay attention to the other woman. Why would the woman want just any man? You want to watch them to be sure you’re going to get them.

The man is Hubert. Her name is Mineola. Just send them back. What is the other woman’s name? Mineola is the one running away. The one he’s dancing with is Crystal. What about the lone man in the background? He don’t know. His name doesn’t matter.

All the men are standing by the posts.

Mineola is telling the man in the back “Don’t jump! I’m right here. You don’t know me, but I’m right here.”

Hubert is exceptionally tall. What does Hubert do for a living? He chases women.

I don’t like that the people are in the way of the buildings. I’d like to see the buildings.

How high off the ground are they? They don’t care. The guy in the back threatens to jump every night to attract females, to get attention. Now Mineola is going to run over to him and he’s going to tell her he’s lonely, he needs somebody.

It’s a foggy day in London town. So it’s London. Yes, it’s London. Don’t you remember the old song a long time ago, it’s a foggy day in London town? When I met you the fog was so bad I couldn’t see you. Damn! Things would have been different.

There are a lot of buildings in the background. Where are they dancing? Could be a bridge. It’s not the top of a building; it’s a bridge over the top of the river. Any river. It’s a big one.

What are Hubert and Crystal talking about while they’re dancing? Where they’re going to go to bed. It looks to me like Mineola is too short for the guy in the back. Hubert can’t do much dancing with that heavy overcoat on. Maybe he’s cold. He’s not going to take it off to satisfy her. She’s all fired up. “Hey, here I am!” It doesn’t take much to fire her up. He’s just standing there.

What does Mineola do for a living? She’s got her arms up. She’s smiling. She says to the man in the back, “Yes, you and I. I’m ready for you.”

Hubert is tall. Girls like tall men. Most of them do. Do you look at really short guys when you’re out horsing around? You’re pretty tall.

Crystal is a very uncomfortable partner for a man to dance with. Look at where her hand is. It should be on his shoulder. She’s not with him. I think she’s lost there. You never put your hand on the man’s arm that way if you’re dancing. It should always be on his shoulder.

I don’t think she’s got much choice there. There’s some guy standing in the back. Another guy by the post. What is the guy in the back looking at? He’s looking at the water. He’s sick of looking at the river. He’s looking away. Well, it doesn’t look to me like a very good place to dance. It’s sloppy. Do you like to dance in the water?

Mineola asked the man in the back if he was stood up but he said he just missed the bus. Crystal said they should do something so he’s not moping all night long. Mineola goes to talk to the man and he says, “Where the hell did you come from?”

I don’t think any of the four or five guys look too appetizing. The way this guy’s grabbed a hold of this girl, I don’t think he really wants her. He’s not standing close enough to her. Not compared to the way men act today.

Why aren’t there more people there? I wonder that, too. They’re all in the buildings. It’s too cold to be outside. No, it’s just that time of day. She doesn’t look like it’s too cold.

I don’t think any of them look interested. Is it too early in the morning for others to be out? No, it’s evening. Nobody would be dancing around that early in the morning unless they’re nuts. Well, sometimes people are odd.

They’re going to have to go someplace else next. They need more people. Only one girl for five guys.

That isn’t England. Do you think it’s somewhere in America? It’s somewhere in Europe.

None of the people are very attractive.

It’s somewhere around us in Orlando on a roof. It doesn’t look like they’re worth too much. That’s not a rooftop. It’s just a patio, or a sidewalk. It’s too even with the rest of the buildings to be a rooftop.

It doesn’t seem like it’s a place for that type of people to be. They thought something else would be going on. They’re looking across.

Crystal has her arm up, so she’s just arrived. They’ve all just arrived. They haven’t really found company yet.

How should our story end? The guy in the back thinks he was stood up, so he walked down here to pout. “I’m not going to turn around and look at her. She’s got to come over here. Then I’ll tell her to get lost.”

They’re going to another deck next. What music are they listening to? There’s not a radio in sight, so the music must be coming from one of the buildings. What kind of music are they dancing to? I don’t think they’re dancing.

It looks like they’re in Spain to me. Those buildings are lonely looking. How should the story end? He turns around and says, “Get lost. You weren’t here when I wanted you here. Don’t do that to me.”

The man next to her is just standing there. And she’s happy.

TALLY HO

The little boy loves the horsie. I would say they were hand-in-mouth ranchers. They might be movie actors. Which one? The horse is the actor. The horse is wearing a bridle.

The man’s name is Larry. A little girl is next to him. No, it’s a boy. You can see it’s a boy. Her name is Allison. She’s meeting the horse. What’s the horse’s name? We’re treating the horse like a dog.

The horse’s name is Horsie. What are they going to do with the horse? What would you do with a horse? I don’t want to say. They’re going to let the little kid ride. Sit in the saddle anyhow. The name for the horse is Bernett.

Allison has never ridden Bernett before, but she has ridden other horses. If they live on a ranch, they’d ride the horse around the ranch, around their property. Some people ride them for pleasure through the park. Most people who own horses own riding horses.

I’ve been to a ranch. My cousins had a ranch, and I visited them once in a while. You can read an awful lot about these things today.

They have their own vegetable garden on the ranch and they grow their own vegetables. Raise a couple of sheep perhaps. Have young animals there for the kids to pet. They can teach the children proper care of the horse from the time they’re little, how to groom them, you know.

What is the name of the ranch? That’s such a big question. There are so many ranches and so many ways to name them. I’d call mine Tally-ho. I’d name mine Patty.

Does Allison have any brothers or sisters? I think so. She’s got an older brother, about fourteen. I don’t know about that.

Larry is not their father. You would automatically think father and son or uncle and son. I think father and son. Is that a girl or a boy? I don’t think a little girl that age would be wearing earrings. My little girl wouldn’t be. She doesn’t look much like a little girl.

What’s in the back? I don’t think that’s anything, it’s all black. It’s nothing that would be important to look at or see. I don’t know; the horse is in the way. If her name is Allison, that must be a girl then.

How old is Allison, about seven or eight? I’d say seven, approximately. She’s taller than she looks. She probably doesn’t usually ride horses. When she stands up and stretches her legs out she’s going to be taller.

Do you think Larry is taller than the horse? I think he’s taller than the horse. Allison is probably older than she looks. I kind of think Allison is a boy. His hair is kind of cut like a boy’s.

What are they talking about? Riding the horse. I imagine they’re talking about riding. The little boy looks like he’s anxious to ride. I think he’d have to be closer to twelve because if you’re going to take a child away from home and immediately put him on a horse that’s an odd thing to do. If a child is too little they’d be scared.

They’re talking about the horses. I can see they’re doing something with the horse. You can see he is looking up at the horse, and so is the little boy. They’re obviously talking about the horse. Larry is probably asking if he wants to ride. The kid is anxious to do it. He’s not really scared but he’s a little bit frightened. He looks like he’s very very much interested.

They’re in Tennessee. Kids are usually afraid of animals at first. They want to get acquainted. He’s searching for things, wants to know what’s going on. He wants to know if he can ride. He’s got a hold of the reins and everything. Does Larry ride too? I should think so. I don’t imagine he’d want to start out with a pony that’s not done anything. Is the horse already trained then? Sure. The horse seems eager to get going on something.

The guy that owns the horse is teaching Allison to ride. Larry owns the horse I imagine.

They’re being interviewed. Maybe the guy’s father wants to see how the kid’s doing.

This guy wouldn’t be out here if he wasn’t expecting to take him for a ride. The little boy is anxious because he’s older than Larry thinks. I don’t think this is the same kid as before. Yes, it is.

How should our story end? They’re going to go riding. That’s what he’s there for. Larry is anxious for them to start, too. Look at his hands. He can’t hardly hold himself in.

A NICE SHADY STREET

They’ve been out all afternoon selling magazine subscriptions, but they got tired and sat down. They looked relaxed, a little tense but relaxed. Sort of an empty street, isn’t it? Where do you think they live? I’m trying to figure that out. No necessarily the true south because you got too many fir trees. It looks like somebody’s front yard. They’re on the curb. They’re cars in the street.

How old do you think she is? I wouldn’t say past twenty. I think so, too. Pretty trees. Yeah. There’s a nice one. Some mixed up vegetation-type things, isn’t it? Must be somebody’s neighborhood. What kind of trees? It doesn’t matter. I don’t think they’re young men.

The one on the right has a commanding posture. It’s a nice street. Orlando used to be like this, lovely homes, front yards and back yards. She doesn’t look like she’s very old. The one on the right looks like a Caroline. Are they sisters or friends? Probably friends. Neighbors maybe. Probably.

What’s this, a creek? That’s a nice picture. That’s the way it is. Yes, it is. It’s easy, though, right.

That’s a street they’re on. They went on a picnic earlier. What has she got around her neck? It might be what you carry kids around in. Is Caroline the other girl’s mother? Yes. I think somebody’s the mother of somebody. I don’t think they know exactly what to expect. There’s nothing to go by. All the cars that are there have been there all day. I don’t think those are cars in the background. Maybe two cars put together.

I’m worried a car is going to hit their legs. What is the red spot by their feet? Is this a park? They’ve got ugly knees. Nobody else on the street. Is this a street? I think they’re kind of bored. It looks to me like it’s a creek, and they’ve got their feet wading in the creek. And there’s a beautiful tree growing there. No, it’s just a street.

1943. That’s a long time ago. Why isn’t the creek making more ripples? I know they’re together. It looks like fish skins heading up to the sky. But these trees are growing funny. They’re growing up and down not like real trees on a curb.

One time we lived on a dead end street in Orlando. I see these kids sitting on a curb with their feet in the gutter and it reminds me of what we used to do. Nobody ever came down that street. Our house was the next-to-the-last house and there was this large fence with a big two door opening that was never opened and the other side was a very exclusive apartment-type neighborhood and we used to enjoy going over there and dumping garbage cans and doing things we shouldn’t have been doing. We were pretty bad little kids. There were six of us in our family, and each one of us was individually ornery. I don’t know how my mother did it. My father was a representative of the government. We lived wherever the prettiest flag flew.

I never saw a street like this with leaves going across it. That’s a red ball under Caroline’s foot. They were probably playing ball. That’s not very big ball. It’s very small, and there are only two people.

Where it is? Is there a creek around here? I think it’s in Florida. I think it could definitely be in Florida. That’s where we have them. Look, the creek is going behind the tree. Way down there, it looks like the fall, so there might be a fall, but it’s not rippling enough for a heavy falls. It looks to me like a stream going down the middle, more so than a street. It doesn’t have any flowers or anything to go around it. No wildflowers. There are some flowers in the corner, and behind Caroline.

What are they going to do next? I don’ think they’ve got anything in mind, to tell you the truth. They’re trying to think of something to do, but they’re coming up blank. I’m not so bored, are you? I was on that street once. They’re going to have a hard time coming up with something original to do. They look completely wiped out, not physically but mentally. They’re going to make it up as they go.

I still don’t think it’s a street. No, it’s a street. A nice shady street.

Are these girls related? I think they’re just friends. Sisters don’t play together, at least I don’t think they do. Well, they must have something in common. I don’t know. They look the same.

You do a good job with it.

When you look closely, it doesn’t look like a creek. That could be a pond in the back extending into the street, if it is a street. Is it a street or a creek? Doesn’t make any difference. Are they going swimming next? No, a creek isn’t deep enough to go swimming. They’re on a big, long canoe. The boat is long.

That looks like a waterfall behind them. Look at all the trees. So many of them. I looked up there. Other ones. They’re looking at something across the street. I’d like to see some more pictures.

How should our story end? They’re not going anywhere. They’re staying here. It looks like a lot of little buildings in the background, like the place where you go camping. Are they going to go camping next? Yes. That’s what they’re supposed to be discussing, if they’re going camping next. No way! No, they shouldn’t go camping. Why? There’s water, a place to go swimming.

PRANCING AROUND

That looks like my niece. She’s the star dancer of Southern ballet. If I hadn’t goofed off so much when I was younger, I would be dancing.

If they would just let me go, then they’d just come back. They’re looking at them.

This is the front of the school. Earl is the one down at the house. I’m not going anywhere.

I love ballet. I wish I had been a good girl and stuck with it when I was younger. I had too much else to be interested in. Baseball. I have some things with that. I don’t want it like that way.

She said she is too lazy to go. I can’t tell you. I know ballet but I can’t tell you what she’s doing. She’s on her toes and she’s got her hands up in the air. The best place to get is right up here.

He’s the one who has this one. You don’t have to look at his. I had to get my hair fired.

She’s excellent. Where is she? Today. She takes everything in. I don’t want one.

I thought every year you had a red one.

She must be on a stage somewhere. Backdrop like that, it would have to be. She’s not dressed for anything, though. Rehearsal, maybe. Is she on a stage? Yeah.

Do you want two of them to be here dancing? Is it two tonight? Yeah. That’ll take care of everything.

Where’s your bisel row? I got me a new one. He’s looking for it. This is called chocolate.

I want to get the first one next, the next one. I have nothing I can wear, only this thing. That’s all they do.

There’s John. There was twenty-two. This was a pretty one. I liked it. I thought it was pretty.

What is her name? Dorothy. We’ll call her Dottie for short. Chocolate candy. She likes chocolate.

Is she practicing for a big performance? Doesn’t look like it. Just make it for her.

No smooching in here! Oh, he got it back, huh?

It looks like she’s holding the roof up.

Is that a man? No! That’s a woman. What city is she in? New York. She lives there.

She’s doing nothing. She’s looking at the thing above her. I think she’s just prancing around. We can’t have them all dancing. She’s not dancing. She’s just prancing.

What does she do for a living? She just prances. She hangs drapes. She’s a decorator. No smooching at this table.

When there’s no one looking and you want to prance around, why not? She doesn’t want to be different. When you’re acting silly and stuff. We’re too old to prance around. No, we’re not. We can prance around in our minds.

What else does she like to do? She just prances around. Does she like to do anything else? Well, I don’t.

What does Dorothy want? Well, I don’t think she wants to hang like that. I don’t think she’s just prancing around. She might be using her prancing around to get ahead.

Get us going, that’s what he said. You’re ready. You’re first.

What is Dorothy going to do after she finishes rehearsal? That covers a lot of territory. She might do another flip-flop and then some more prancing around.

What’s down there? It’s a fig room. She’s okay down there in the fig room.

What happens at the end of the day? Is she going to do a flip-flop? No.

How should our story end? But we haven’t gotten all the way around, have we? Mostly flip-flops up there. What’s a good ending for our story? I don’t know. There aren’t always good endings. Type a love letter to me.

BICYCLING TO THE SEASHORE

What time of day is this? 3:00 in the afternoon. Are these women friends? They could be. Then again, they could be a pain in the neck.

They’re pretty. They look pretty nice. They put a lot of work together.

Well, their feet are not touching the ground. It looks like two bicycles put together. Or just one long bicycle. It’s kind of weird. There’s a spotlight on them. They’ve got two little umbrellas over them. The bicycle looks like it’s being held up. A couple of horns in the front.

They’re going to a picnic at the seashore. Are they meeting anyone or is it just them? Just them. Obviously they’re not worried about their shoes because they’re barefoot. Look again, they do have shoes on. Little yellow shoes. Doesn’t look like it to me, but I guess it is. How will they get to the seashore? On the bicycles.

What are their names? Kay and Irene. Or Irena Kay. Kay is in the front. They look to me like they’re underwater. Definitely. Looks like it’s wavy.

These two women are friends. It doesn’t look to me like they have very good food on hand. They’re definitely bringing cold food, nothing cooked.

Why are they going to have a picnic? Must just be that time of day, that time of year. They’re spending their vacation on the water. Where are they spending their vacation, if it’s by the water? Anywhere on the coast. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina. Where are Kay and Irene? Looks to me like they’re suspended in the water.

How did they get their bikes underwater? Just rolled them in there. Is anyone else on vacation with them? The people with them are taking the pictures. Who came with them on vacation? Family.

Where are they from? Somewhere near water, because they’re very much accustomed to being in water. That’s very still water they’re in, because the umbrellas aren’t moving at all. There’s no flap in them. They’re just standing there straight. Doesn’t look like there’s any land under the front wheel.

The bicycle looks like it’s tipping a little bit. The girl in the back’s hair is blowing out back, and the girl in the front’s hair is blowing out front. Why is that? Must be a whirlwind of air going through there. They both have their feet pointed in the same direction. But the one in the front seems to be taking more on than the one in the back.

What are they wearing? Just shorts and a shirt. Looks like some sort of scarf over one’s shoulder. What’s that on their backs? Must be part of a collar. Their hair is flowing down over the top of it.

What do they want? Just to have a good time. Exercise. What are they going to do to have a good time? Get off those dumb bicycles. Then what? They’ve got bags around them that they can open up and spread around to sit on. I imagine one of them has some food in the box behind them.

I don’t think either one of them is too interested in the picnic. They’re just posing for the picture. One of them’s wheel is completely off the ground, and the other one’s back wheel is on the ground. So how are they getting anywhere? Well, I think obviously they don’t want to go anywhere.

They’re on the edge of a cliff under the water. No land under the front wheel, but under the back wheel is that cliff.

What else are they going to do when they get to the seashore? They’re probably going to wade in the water, since they’ve got their shoes off. They’ll blow the horn. Beautiful faces. They look happy, don’t they? She’s got a package. I wonder what’s in there. What could be in there? Something to eat. Pretty girls.

Is there anything besides food in the basket? Doesn’t look like the kind of basket you’d carry food in. But I guess maybe they do. I think so. Wish they’d bring me some of the food.

Notice how much the wind is blowing up the skirts? Are there any animals under the water with them? I don’t think they’re underwater.

They’ve got little shoes on. It’s a nice picture. Kay and Irene. Wouldn’t that be funny if that were really their names?

When they’re not on vacation, what do they do? They work as waitresses. Do they like being waitresses? Well, it’s the best job they could get with their talent.

There’s a lot of wind on the girl in the back. Her hair is standing up. It’s really a cute picture.

Does anything go wrong on their vacation? I don’t think so. They have a nice vacation.

Well, they’re not going to get very far if they’re riding those bicycles with the umbrellas up because the wind will get under them and lift them up. Take them out of the water. Enough is enough. Don’t send them away somewhere.

Where are the children? Do they have any children? No, doesn’t look like it. If they’re dealing with water, the children have to be near them.

They’re pretty stupid if they’re riding their bikes with the umbrellas up, because the wind could take them off. They should tie them down, because they could go much faster. If they know where they’re going. I don’t think they do.

You came to the right place. We’re funny. This is the fun group.

I hope they haven’t got a long ways to go.

It’s a pretty picture. It gives you something.

How should our story end? Pretty quick. Let’s end it quick. Should we let them get to the seashore? I think they’re there already. I think they want to go home. They look like happy women. But there’s something about them that makes them look old. They ran into a rainstorm and it destroyed everything they had with them. They had no place to stay, so they got on their bikes and went back home.
